STEM and Homeroom Notices for March 9-13

Math: Wrap up of division and introduction of Geometry this week. We will also review common errors of the Phase 1 assessment a few weeks back. Each student will review their results on the District Phase 1 assessment one-on-one with Ms Barrieau or Ms Kingston.
Science/Collaboration: Biomaking- We will continue to create Algae strings in the lab this week and continue feeding our scoby microbial leather. We will complete the analysis and reflections in our Biomaking Student Guide, as well as create art with our biomaterial. We also have a guest coming from the Centres of Excellence for Energy to do a hands-on activity with students on Tuesday afternoon.
