We will be starting our animal dioramas this week to go along with our writing piece. If you haven’t yet sent in a shoebox or a small box, please send one in soon.
In math this week, we are using rulers to measure the length of objects, as well as reviewing other number sense concepts that we have learned earlier in the year.

We are working on the sound ç as well as le tréma (ë, ï, etc).
We are continuing to work on characteristics of animals, and are learning about different habitats this week. This big project at the end of the unit will include a diorama of an animal habitat as well as an accompanying writing piece. Students will be creating the diorama out of a small box or a shoe box.
In math this week, we are reviewing fractions as equal pieces to share, as well as +10/-10 and +100/-100
